CALarm is a calendar-aware alarm app for iOS 26. We do not sell your data. Alarm preferences stay on your device. If you connect Google Calendar, CALarm reads events directly from Google’s API using your account — we do not operate CALarm servers for calendar storage.
Calendar events (EventKit). With your permission, CALarm reads upcoming events from calendars on your device (iCloud, Exchange, and calendars synced through iOS Settings). This data is processed on your device and is not uploaded to us.
Google Calendar (optional). If you choose “Connect Google Calendar,” CALarm uses Google Sign-In to read upcoming events from the Google Calendar API. Requests go directly from your device to Google. We do not receive or store your Google credentials on CALarm servers.
Alarms. CALarm uses Apple’s AlarmKit framework to schedule countdown alarms and Live Activities. Alarm scheduling is handled by iOS on your device.
Alarm preferences. Per-event alarm settings, default alarm offset, snooze duration, theme choices, and Google calendar toggles are stored locally on your device using iOS storage (UserDefaults).
CALarm requests read-only access to Google Calendar (calendar.readonly) for one purpose: to show your upcoming events and schedule alarms for them on your device. Event data is used only inside the app on your iPhone. It is never sent to CALarm or any other server, sold, used for advertising, or read by people. Disconnecting Google Calendar in the app's settings, or removing CALarm at myaccount.google.com/permissions, ends access.
CALarm's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We do not share your personal information with third parties. Google processes Calendar API requests when you connect Google Calendar, under Google’s Privacy Policy. Apple processes App Store distribution and TestFlight under Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Data remains on your device until you delete the app or revoke calendar access in iOS Settings.
You can deny or revoke calendar access in Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars → CALarm. You can manage alarm permissions in Settings → CALarm.
CALarm is not directed at children under 13.
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
